Why download an emoji as a PNG?
Emojis are text characters. When you paste one into a design tool, a presentation, or a print file, the result depends entirely on what font is installed on that device. The same emoji can look completely different on Windows versus Mac versus Android.
A PNG is different — it is a fixed image. It looks identical everywhere, at any size, on any device or platform. That makes it reliable for:
- Stickers (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp) — export with a transparent background for a clean cutout
- Design mockups in Figma, Canva, or Photoshop — drop in a crisp 1024×1024 without pixelation
- Social media thumbnails, story overlays, and post graphics

What the tool does

The download is generated entirely in your browser using the HTML Canvas API — nothing is uploaded to a server, and there is no watermark.
How to use it
- Go to emojar.com/emoji-to-png
- Search or scroll through the emoji grid and click one to select it — or paste any emoji directly into the text input at the top
- Choose a size, background colour, and padding amount
- Watch the live preview update in real time
- Click Download PNG — the file saves immediately to your device
The whole process takes about ten seconds.
Tips
For stickers: Choose Transparent background and Medium or Large padding. The padding gives the emoji some breathing room when placed on different coloured backgrounds.
For social media: Use White or a colour-matched background at 512×512 or 1024×1024. A solid background stops the emoji from looking cut-out against the platform's UI.
For Figma / design tools: Export at 1024×1024 with None or Small padding, then scale down inside your design. You get the full detail without committing to a small pixel count early.
For multiple emojis: Type or paste a sequence of emojis (or even text combined with emojis) into the custom text box. The tool renders whatever you type, so you can create a row of emojis as a single image.
